The flight over to Russia was long and hard, twelve hours on our plane! I was sandwiched next to a window by a Russian couple who must have had lead in their bottoms because they didn't get up to walk around for seven hours at one point! Our group arrived in Moscow at two in the afternoon, and immediately had to go through customs and fill out important customs documents. Our trip advisor had to fight with the Russian workers at the airport so they would allow some of the students (including me) to check both of our bags. After all this, our group found an airport cafe called шоколадница aka chocolate lady where they served chocolates and drinks and beer and other tasty items, like bliny. I had some lovely chocolate and some water. The boys wasted no time, and started their beer drinking then and there. One girl fell asleep right at the table!
